Great value for the price I paid. Hotel right in the heart of the city, connected to the shopping centre with a direct walkway and lots of restaurants close by. Rooms are nice and so is the bathroom especially for a refurbed building. Staff on the front desk were friendly.
By mistake I booked and paid for Sun/Mon stay instead Mon/Tue, which I found out on arrival. The receptionist said I need to pay full price for another night. Once I asked for a discount he said it’s impossible. Understandable on one hand as it was my mistake. Still, it would be nice if he knocked anything out of the price as the hotel did not incur any costs of the prior night service.nOther than that the staff were very nice.nBedding/room clean. But overall not really clean and pleasant place to stay. The paint was coming off the bath, filthy elevators, around the dining area the basics were clean table top etc. but once looking around everything was dirty- windows, window frames, walls.
Great location just a couple of minutes from the train station and in the centre of Luton, just next to the mall. Great buffet breakfast, great service and safe facilities. Overall very pleased with our stay.

I am amending my original review which I have kept intact below. The owner did take care of the issue that I had and I'm grateful for that. My suggestions are to empower the agents to take care of problems like this when they arise, and to have them trained with better customer service. The service I received at 3:40 am was appalling. Also, at breakfast there was a problem with food running out and having nothing available to drink, not even water. For a hotel of this calibur, that should not have been an issue. Lastly, give better directions to the hotel. We spent thirty minutes below the hotel because we couldn't find where it was located. I am grateful that the owner did step in and remedy the original problem, but the visit was marred with sub par service for a hotel of this calibur.nnTo Whom it May Concern:nnI spoke to the two agents on duty about having so many problems with booking on the website and being charged £15 more because the prepay and save breakfast option would not process, but neither of the two available at 3:40 am on Sunday April 28 were able to do anything to help resolve the issue. I was advised to send an email in order to get the problem resolved and the £15 refunded. This experience has been anything but hassle free like you show on your letter, and quite honestly, I'm very disappointed considering how well rated this hotel is. My family and I stayed in room 811 with booking reference 871636205. Please refund the £15 to my card.nnYour quick response would be greatly appreciated.nnThank you,nnChristopher McKinley
