We were visiting from Ireland, first time in Luton. The hotel was very nice with great location. The staff were very helpful and polite. Particularly Giovanni, who was extremely helpful to us and made our stay a lot better. He was very kind, professional and helpful. Me and my family were very appreciative of Giovanni, of how friendly and helpful he was to us and for accommodating and ensuring we had a nice/comfortable stay.nnThe location of the hotel is excellent. Easy access to the Mall, and only a five minute walk to the train station. It was very easy to get to central London. A 45 minute train ride brought us to central London.
We had the nicest stay! The room was very clean. Everyone who is working there was so polite and helpful! The hotel is exactly 1 minute from the big shopping Mall where you can find anything to buy or to eat. Excellent choice!!!!! Also train station is 4 minutes walking. If we go again, it will be our choice!
Having arrived at Thistle Express in Luton after a long and stressful journey involving two flights. After trying four different hotels, I finally found my way here, and I couldn’t be more grateful.nFrom the moment I stepped in, Sunny at reception went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. I was feeling very upset and emotional, and Sunny’s kindness, understanding, and professionalism completely turned my experience around. He even offered me an early check-in, which I really appreciated as I had nowhere else to stay. That small gesture made such a big difference to me in that moment.nThe security guard was also incredibly friendly and chatty, adding to the overall positive atmosphere.nIf you’re looking for a place where the staff genuinely care about their guests, Thistle Express is the one. I can’t thank Sunny and the team enough for their support—they really made a difference. Highly recommended !
A decent stay for the money and nicely accessible by the bus to the airport. It was handy alternative to staying near the airport where there is nothing there.nnIt’s a two minute walk to the station and buses and there’s a Wetherspoons round the corner too for food and drinks. Other pubs nearby didn’t look particularly amazing.nnThe staff were really friendly and the price was excellent considering it included a plentiful breakfast. Not the most glamorous location but for its purpose it was fine.nnThe room was fine too, but it was very hot even though it was a colder time of year and there was a constant humming sound all night on the seventh floor which was fairly loud. Through tiredness we slept well though. They could do with sorting out the temperature in the rooms the fan wouldn’t have solved this and the weird sounds.nnMight not be for everyone here but was good value for a short stop ahead of going to the airport.
