I hired a 1950 bus for my 70th birthday and was given a big choice of vehicles. It was a splendid day despite suspect weather. Everyone enjoyed the bus trip a lot, with an excellent crew. Strongly recommended.

I ordered a bus from the Yorkshire Heritage Bus Company for my wedding and I thought everything was planned accordingly and it would be a great day, however after leaving the church we expected the bus to be sat there waiting for us but instead it wasn't. After waiting a few minutes we all began to walk down the path to where the bus was due to arrive and then the rain started to pour, so we took shelter under the trees! After 20 minutes I began to wonder what was going on, so my husband rung the company but there was no answer! I then began to wonder whether they were turning up at all! After 40 minutes stood in the rain with no communication, my husband then began to call for taxis and even went home to get our car as we needed a car seat for our 3 year old daughter. Most of our other guests had already driven to the venue as they understandably didn't want to be stood in the rain. So 5 mins later the taxis arrived and so did the bus!!! When the bus finally arrived I was not very happy with the drivers response when I asked why they were late as he just said 'blame it on the council' no apology or explanation! I ordered the bus for a specific time which then caused the timings to be pushed on and we missed our drinks reception due to the late arrival of the bus. I paid a lot of money for the bus upfront and I must admit I expected a better service. I have been in email communications with the owner Tony over the past few weeks and still waiting for my issue to be resolved with a refund.

Thank you so much to the YHBC for providing the transport for our guests on your lovely vintage double decker bus. A professional and reliable service and thank you for letting our brass players play throughout the journey!

We used this company for our wedding transport. They were very accomodating and punctual on the day. Would use this company again. We visited their warehouse/showroom and this was an experience in itself.

I have given 1star as that is the lowest you can go a minus would be better. My daughter ordered a bus from Yorkshire Heritage for her Wedding to take her guests from her Wedding to the reception we are still waiting! The bus never arrived a text was sent during the ceremony! to inform us it had a puncture and would not be coming no offer of replacement or alternative. To add insult to injury my daughter had to ring after her honeymoon to insist on a refund! Do not use this company.
