I had a hearing test with Mr Khan and he subsequently provided me with some hearing aids. I found the service and his  advice to be absolutely top class. I had a few issues at first mainly through my inexperience and his help in sorting everything out for me has been extremely efficient and reassuring.

I cannot thank Mr Khan enough for his help with diagnosing the level of loss of hearing in my left ear and the continuing support with monitoring and maintaining my hearing aid. I cannot recommend his work enough and his help and knowledge has helped me to understand and live with Tinnitus and the diagnosis of profound deafness in the left ear.

Abid was recommended to me by two ENT consultants, when I explained my needs. My father had served in the British Army for over thirty years and his hearing has been severely damaged. My father was struggling with his loss of hearing and had tried a number of NHS and private hearing aids. Abid was exceptionally kind and helpful to my father. Nothing was too much trouble, Abid not only made home visits, he recommended a grant we could apply for in the light of the cause of his hearing loss. Abid continues to see my father and is always able to see him within days of request. My father’s hearing will never be recovered, but Abid’s assistance has ensured it is better and more comfortable than it was. Thank you so much.

Mr Khan is a lovely gentleman.  A thoroughly professional and competent service, he takes time and care to fully understand and assess one's problem and then offers excellent advice.  A big bonus is that he has a great speaking voice, in my hearing impaired state I could clearly hear his every word.

I was referred to Mr Khan by an ENT consultant at the Spire hospital. I had NHS hearing aids for around 4 years but wasn't happy with the sound quality or look. Mr Khan supplied me with two high quality hearing aids, which connect to my mobile telephone. His after care is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for him. He really has changed my life.

I was referred to Abid Khan by my private ENT consultant . I had struggled for several years with not being able to hear properly and of late with tinnitus and balance problems . I was told my problems possibly stemmed from chemotherapy , although  I had little sympathy from my own Doctors surgery who were just dismissive. I  was having to have my ears syringed 4 times a year which I felt was not doing my ears any good .  At 68 I initially thought I was too young to have hearing aids but Abid reassured me that it was best to address this problem early so that my brain adapted to changes whilst I was still relatively young . He let me try hearing aids and gave me reassurance and confidence and at no time did I feel pressured  . As it was lockdown he visited me at home , after my initial consultation , and he was just amazing . He had so much patience , explaining how I fitted the aids and connected them to my I phone so I could listen to my music this is wonderful  . He explained how I could take phone calls via blue tooth . The sound is just so crystal clear . I no longer have to have the TV so loud which pleases everyone too . Abid contacted me regularly to check my progress and to talk me through problems . I felt he had such genuine interest in my health and well being .  He made an  emergency visit to my home quite late at night when I had got one of the hearing aid tips lodged in my ear which petrified me . Abid is just so kind and reassuring and nothing is too much trouble. He is a true professional who explains everything thoroughly . He has genuine care which is rarely seen in the busy age we live in and especially through lockdown he has been outstanding . I would recommend him to anyone who is having any trouble whatsoever with their ears .

The hearing aid I was prescribed on the NHS after sudden hearing loss in one ear didn't do anything improve my hearing or the ongoing tinnitus.  The Covid pandemic meant no prospect of a follow up NHS appointment in the foreseeable future, so I arranged a private consultation with Abid at The Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital.  2 weeks later I had a different hearing aid system and much improved hearing and quality of life.  Abid's skill and level of service are first rate he even repaired my hearing aid on one of his days off after I damaged it whilst pulling off a mask.  I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I have recently acquired new hearing aids here, and a clip to use with my phone.  The service that Abid Khan delivers is absolutely excellent.  The aftercare service is first class.  I thought I had a problem and Abid immediately asked me to come in and gave me the support I needed to progress with the hearing aids which did not have a problem, it was me getting used to them!

I am very grateful to Mr Khan for the recent hearing consultation provided to my Grandad after being recommended by an ENT consultant.  For years he has suffered with his hearing after having a poor service from other high street private firms. Mr Khan was able to give a very thorough and intricate fitting of hearing aids with continuous personal aftercare which is something other high street branches couldn't provide.

It is 2 years now since I first consulted Abid Khan at the Yorkshire Hearing Centre. At the age of 69 I was becoming very frustrated with my hearing if there was a lot of background noise, and had no idea about which where the best hearing aids for me. After doing a hearing aid test Abid was extremely patient and helpful whilst deciding which would be the ones I would find the best. Since then nothing has been to much trouble and he went out of his way to help when I was having really bad dizzy spells. The after care service has been brilliant and I will certainly recommend both Abid and the Yorkshire Hearing Centre.
