A superb evening meal followed by a fantastic breakfast sealed the deal.nnA special highlight was Claire—who’s been with the Wynnstay for an incredible 27 years—graciously singing happy birthday, adding a personal and heartfelt note to our celebrations that we’ll never forget.nnThanks also to Chris, Lucie, Calin, and the entire team—attentive, responsive, and clearly committed to total guest satisfaction. Oswestry Wynnstay hotel’s restaurant is absolutely fabulous! We hadn’t booked but they managed to find us a table even though the restaurant was fully booked and they also had a private function on. The staff are amazing, smiles on their faces and couldn’t do enough for us which brings me to the food…. Well what can we say? It was absolutely gorgeous, freshly cooked to perfection, all delivered in a timely fashion. We would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel again and again!
We cannot praise The Wynnstay hotel enough! We were lucky enough to have our wedding at the hotel and we had the most magical day ever! Every single member of staff excelled themselves with their kindness and professionalism! The accommodation was top class with sumptuous beds and beautifully decorated rooms and the whole hotel is beautiful! Food was incredible and chef made the most amazing wedding breakfast, Caribbean style.nThe jewel in the crown is Chris the general manager who completely made our day! He was like a magician appearing when needed and always making sure we had everything we wanted, nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond to create a magical weekend for us! Thank you Wynnstay! You will always be in our hearts as the most special place!
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding at Wynnstay Hotel recently, and I can’t say enough good things about this venue and the team behind it.nnThe setting is absolutely stunning – full of natural charm, beautiful details, and so many perfect backdrops for photos. But what really stood out to me was how welcoming and supportive the staff were. Chris and the whole team were not only incredibly kind, but genuinely went out of their way to look after everyone – suppliers included.nnAs a photographer, working with a venue that’s so well-run and relaxed makes all the difference. The day flowed effortlessly, and the atmosphere was just amazing from start to finish.nnI’d highly recommend Wynnstay Hotel to any couple looking for a gorgeous, down-to-earth venue with a top-tier team. Can’t wait to be back!
Fabulous from start to finish. Lottie was our server, bubbly, polite and attentive. Especially patient with my elderly, hard of hearing parents, they were well impressed. Lottie is an asset to the Wynnstay. Great food, lovely atmosphere. Been coming here for over 45yrs and it's the best it's ever been.
