The apartment pictures advertising do not depict the cleanliness of actual apartment. Damp and flaking paint on most of the walls. Curtain pole fell off on closing curtains. Most of beds need to go in skip. Worn flooring and carpets throughout. Towels stained or bleach marks. I would not stay here again if I was paid! The only positive is location , but again very noisy. Earplugs are supposed to be provided but we had to ask in pub and were given 2 pairs between 5 of us as thats all they had left! If your looking for cleanliness and comfort definitely avoid this apartment!
Very good location. It might be a bit noisy for someone over weekend nights due to bars and pubs around. Friendly and kind members of staff. Rooms are very warmly. Extra heater was provided as extra if someone needed.Rooms: 4/5
Room was really dirty, mould on shower curtain, tobacco in drawers and smelt of stale beer. Decided we couldn’t stomach staying there so had to book last minute elsewhere. Girls on the reception bar were friendly.Rooms: 1/5
No selection of real ale good choice of lagers friendly service and great bar staffService: 4/5
Lovely place to stay, Service was great staff were lovely, made us feel very welcome. Very central , though can be a little noisy at night ,but they supply ear plugs lol we never used as were worn out as busy weekend. Would stay again Rooms: 4/5
The room is functional! We had room 5, Friday and Saturday, it was not a quiet room, the street below was heaving with people and party goers all night, Saturday was worse for the boom boom disco , do take your ear plugs no sanitary bin in the bathroom, and the room bin was not emptied during the day, nor tea or coffee refilled. The bed was comfortable with soft bouncy pillows, the duvet was hilarious, a single duvet in a double cover on a king sized bed. I turned it sideways which worked well. WiFi is downstairs only. And the don't serve food, and no parking.
Very pleasant bar staff. Limited cask beers but was hoodService: 5/5
Don’t stay hear unless you are going climbing no sleep at all. Staff really nice and polite room 6 is in disrepair and needs a new mattress can feel every spring.Rooms: 2/5
Booked for an overnight stay after a gig. Spot on for price, location is great, booked the triple room, would have easily been room for 4. Bathroom grid size. Only thing for me was the mattress and pillows, they're tired, I wouldn't want to spend more than a night on them. That said, we could easily have spent twice thatand have elsewhere in past and been horribly disappointed. Its clean and good for a night. Location on a Friday night is noisy, as its surrounded by late night bars, but if that's yr thing, it's ideal to flop. Earplugs are in each room Would happily stay again, when visiting for another gig. Food & drinks: Discount off drinks in the bar
Great place to stay if you want somewhere cheap and close to the city centre. But if you want a nice smelling and clean room with decent amenities not my first choice. Hairs on the sheets and marks that maybe fresh or not I'm not sure. The sounds from the local bar and metal stairs that are wet as the access into and out of the building not the safest.
