Really good museum. Love the displays and story. The only thing I would say even though it is wheelchair accessible, in places it is very tight and dark. Furthermore, the attraction exit is especially tight and the slope outside the entrance is very steep just be careful.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
What a magical place. At the entrance I didn't expect much but once inside I was surprised. It was full of beauty and imagination magic. The scenes are put together well and lots of information around the trail. There is a children's activity booklet that is free and worth doing. Lots of questions and quizzes to help keep the children engaged. My only improvement would be the attraction could do with being in a bigger setting as was only small and compact.
We really enjoyed it here! It is laid out really well. The characters are dotted all over the place and some are hidden away that you have to spot. The garden area is very pretty and well maintained. Although it is quite small lots of effort is put into making it look fantastic. We would definitely recommend!
We had a great visit a few weeks ago. A place of wonder and imagination, bringing back memories of the stories as a child... We highly recommend going and exploring The World of Beatrix Potter. No complaints... We got some good tips for plants from the friendly gardener too!
Beautiful attraction which brings the characters to life. Kept very authentic and true to the style of Beatrix's animal friends. There's an activity book to complete if you wish to as you go round the attraction. The outside garden is just as full and enticing as the inside world. The cafe offers a typical sized cafe menu with 2 soups of the day usually and a selection of made to order sandwiches. The afternoon tea and McGregors Salad we have to give a mention to as we tried both and they were both excellent. Clearly fresh local ingredients, value for money and a must try. Overall the whole experience is one not to be missed.
I'm not sure who had more fun...me or my two year old. This was such a lovely place to visit. They really try to keep the magic of Potter alive, fun for all ages... I even saw my husband crack a few smiles. This place was designed for toddlers, everything within reach and view for them. Thoroughly enjoyed. Will probably go back... without my toddler
A really sweet attraction. Lot's of information and I recommend doing the children's activity booklet as it points out things that might have been missed. My children enjoyed it but I actually think I liked it more! The detail and care gone into the scenes is just lovely.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
What a fantastic experience it was to visit this beautiful attraction! We were expecting a museum-type situation but were pleasantly surprised! Filled with an amazing walk-through, almost "set" like tour, filled with beautiful music and the most spectacular lighting and ceilings decorations, the walls were covered, there were figurines of all sizes everywhere and a lovely little Mr McGreggor garden in the back. We were told at the end that the owners previously worked in some sort of backstage theatre role, which explains why it felt like stepping onto a set. We went through the week and so it was super quiet, we practically had the place to ourselves. 10/10 from us and we would highly recommend! The only small thing I would mention is that the parking was a little confusing on arrival, we thought we could drive down towards the building but it turns out you definitely can't. We didn't see any disabled bays either but it could be that we just didn't see them? We had to park across the road on our visit. Obviously during the busy summer season I might imagine this could be an issue, but planning ahead would easily resolve that.
Such a well thought out, magical journey into the world of Beatrix Potter's stories. This place really brings the characters to life. Far more than I expected and well worth it for any Peter Rabbit fan! It was quiet on a weekday during term time.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
What a wonderful experience! This was really kid and adult friendly. There was even a special activity for the Easter holidays - my son planted a sunflower seed to take home. Everything is beautifully laid out and we enjoyed the scavenger hunt along the way as well as the garden and water feature. The gift shop is well stocked as well and everyone is very friendly. I think it’s reasonably priced. My only cheeky request would be to consider family prices for 3 adults and a kid - Granny came with as well .
