Great food and atmosphere! We came out for a few drinks and spot of dinner to catch up. There's plenty of parking in the multi storey car park and you get it cheaper if you get your ticket validated in any of the restaurants. We arrived and surprisingly found a table by the window as it very busy!! We grabbed drinks and mooched the menu, it's not vast but has the basics and classics. Once in theres actually plenty of tables inside and outside on the verranda, and it seems to be a really popular meeting place for groups. The menus great for a quick bite to eat or a proper meal whether for lunch or dinner. The decor is as you would expect for a  bar and had a great atmosphere, slightly noisy though as everyone competing to hear each other and over the background music, this just got louder and louder while we were there!! We chose quickly from the menu, and our server was friendly who bought out cutlery then we were waiting a while before the food came out. The food came out one dish at a time, but was fresh hot and very tasty.

A decent bar but has slow service and I ordered a £6 mini fish & chips, thinking it'll probably look like a child's portion... instead I got a minuscule portion exactly 11 chips and a fish finger. Ended up going to McDonald's. FAO: to the owners, either change the name to "minuscule" or change the portion size to something decent.

No food, just stopped off for a drink. Extensive range of gins and unusually a good selection of tonics also. Staff helpful and knowledgeable, atmosphere warm and welcoming and a not bad playlist. Slight down side, no draught but that is made abundantly clear upon arrival. More than reasonably priced - double Monkey 47 for me and double Glenmorangie for himself for sixteen quid. Highly recommended

Nice place to go for a couple of drinks before an event, food to 45 minutes to come out  ut we were warned before ordering. Food was alright but nothing to write home about. Drinks were expensive but they have a captured audience. The bar was under manned so had to wait a while to be served a number of times. On the positive the staff are very friendly.

Played there with our band - Chameleon Groove Alliance - on 28/05/22, it was the 3rd time and as usual we had a fabulous night. Love this venue, the staff are really helpful and always make us feel welcome. It has a fantastic atmosphere, positively buzzing! I love it when we have so many people dancing and having a good time with us. Can't wait to play there again. Family and friends love going there too.

Booked a beer tasting masterclass here as part of a competition prize. When we arrived they had no information related to our booking and had booked the venue out for a private party. Despite having and email confirmation they would not allow me to use the prize at the allocated time and we were asked to return an hour later. Due to this I had to change a restaurant reservation and eat later. Once in the masterclass the manager was apologetic and the masterclass was good, we didn't have time to finish the beers and although they offered to save them for us after our meal we were unable to go back for them due to the late hour and the bar closing. The bar itself is Nice, the drinks options were good and the outdoor seating area looked enjoyable on a nice day.

Came here twice on Saturday 12th February while staying locally for Crufts on the Sunday. My first review would have been 5 stars. We came in for lunch which was fantastic, service great, not too busy. Clean, spacious, amazing food, good choice of craft ale, Guinness and a superb selection of gins over 100 I think. The food was delicious, vegetable samsosa, fries, chicken strips and a Southern fried chicken burger. A selection of mango chutney and a spicy curried ketchup accompanied it. However, when we came back later on in the evening, about 8pm, despite only having a couple of drinks, the service was terrible. It was busy, approximately 15 minutes to get served but the waitress we had, had no spatial awareness at all. A poor chap next to me desperately trying to make eye contact with her was ignored about 3 times till I said something as the same waitress also tried to bypass me and serve someone else who rudely interrupted. The waitress was then very rude to that chap and told him she had no idea he was waiting she wasn't blind. After being served by her and experiencing this, it marred the initial great experience so I couldn't possibly leave a perfect review. However, please visit The World Bar, please enjoy the amazing food, but be cautious that it gets very busy in the evening and may get poor service! I also want to add that there was live music being set up for the evening which we didn't stay for. Table space is limited lots of reserved tables for 9pm, so get in early and enjoy!
