Really good local boozer, l went last Saturday on my own and the music and locals were friendly. Beer decent and well priced. Recommended
Lovely relaxed real ale pub across from the York Barbican. Very nice ales and a great stop before shows start.
Great little bar that has had a recent revamp. If you like your ales, they have a good selection and good turnover, not often do you see the same ale.
Great off the beaten track pub, warm welcome with a wide selection at the bar. Handy for pre- and post-Barbican events. Good music nights too - like Bangarang see photos first Saturday of each month.
On the night we dropped in, a great little pub, serving quality beer. Good taste in late 80/90s bands too :
