Story

We're Karen and Fiona. We're two knitters still learning and loving our craft and we opened The Woolly Brew yarn shop in Pittenweem in December 2011.

We want to be inspired and to inspire other knitters - the wannabes, beginners, hobbiest and the obsessed.

We offer a wide and varied selection of yarn, needles and notions, pattern books, classes and workshops.

Don’t go anywhere else for your yarn and crafting needs, the woolly brew will take care of you! Ordered some yarn for my mum for Christmas and it arrived pretty much the very next day, fastest delivery ever. Love it. So many goodies to choose from!!
Stumbled upon this little gem of a shop on a holiday in Fifeshire. The exterior belies the beautiful array of yarns within. There is a plentiful choice of wool and patterns and all at reasonable prices. Will certainly be looking them up online.
We spontaneously stopped at the small yarn store. The owner is very helpful and friendly. I found some great wool to bring back home :

I love this shop!! The lady at the cashier took her time to explain everything and helped me pick out the best gift for a friend. The shop is sweet and tiny, very cozy and leaves you nearly overwhelmed with choices. Of course I would have loved to buy ' em all...but I managed to leave some yarns for you .
