Lunch by the log burner great staff & service & 99 p a pint
The Woodthorpe Top has overtaken the Samuel Hall as my favourite Wetherspoons in Nottingham. I've visited several times in recent years, including a couple of days ago, and I have never been disappointed. The food is always hot and fresh, the service is quick, the staff are friendly and helpful, the loos are clean always a plus! and there's even a blazing wood fire on cold winter days. I love it here!
0/10 hygiene! Very dirty tables and glasses. The service me and my family got when we asked the staff to clean was appalling. The first one doesn’t clean it properly and the second one who came along gave it a proper clean. Oh and this was happening after 15 minutes of sitting. If you value cleanliness and basic hygiene, do NOT come here
Took 10 minutes to get served only one of the staff proficient tables full of glasses and plates went because local to restaurant I was going to for dinner would not choose to go again
Good food and drinks. Modern pub with good atmosphere. Good value drinks and food. It is a Wetherspoons so you know exactly what to expect. Has clean toilets. Some outdoor seating at front of the building for seating outside in good weather. Limited street parking nearby but free for 2 hours. Does not have a car park for the venue. Visited recently and still good value for drinks but food quality is not as good as it once was.
