Good basic "does what it says on the tin". Had Sunday roast carvery. Good meat and excellent veg, followed by very nice chocolate fudge cake with generous helping of cream. Quick service and very pleasant staff. Good atmosphere with lots of happy families eating there.
The Sunday dinners are amazing here and such a friendly atmosphere we love going to this local pub

Nice friendly pub. In need of serious updating/renovation, but good all the same. Huge beer garden.
It is a great place to visit also the staff are very accommodating and the food fantastic thanks to the staff.
Not bad but the meat is in big trays of gravy and gets fished out and very thin sliced Instead of being cut from joints of meat. Quite a poor variety of veg.
We gave this pub ago because the lamb was closed due to flooding. Given the lamb was closed and it was a Friday, really surprised that there were only 4 other people in. It was tidy enough and the beer was good but it just didn't have any atmosphere.
Popped in waiting for Chinese Takeaway to open. Friendly staff, good ales not tried food yet. Will return. Kept 10 yr old son happy with pool table, 2 games for a pound! Proper pub, not an MFI showroom.
