Friendly staff, reasonably priced beer, covered outdoor eating area where you can smoke. Delicious lunches, BLT sandwich very filling and nice, Fabulous Sunday lunch with all home grown veggies. Brilliant!
Definitely overpriced, went to a different local pub further up the road for cheaper drinks.. went from £4.45 to £3.15 for the same amount
Unfriendly bar maid. Too many cliquey locals over running the main bar area. Too many dogs laying around- trip hazards. No Good local ales. Had a very Smokey doggy smell. Shame that one of only 2 local pubs is not more welcoming and friendly. Why would I choose to spend money here again? Perhaps the bar staff could go on a course and learn how to smile and welcome their clientele. Only visit if you can stand being glared at as you walk in. Go to the Brickmakers instead- At least the bar staff there are friendly. On the positive, the lager was nice and the table was clear.
Great pub - new landlords, so not doing food yet, but will be again soon New - still great and with food Don and Debby with daughter Natalie run the pub brilliantly Still great Excellent Hopefully food will be available soon . Sadly still no food
This for me was more like the old time pub. Big bonus they served mild. Nice garden outside to enjoy the good weather.
Staff was lovely and kind and the pub is wonderful
First time at this place and found it to be very pretty inside with a warm feeling. The food was very tasty and for the quality and amount it was great value. Would definitely go back again.
Pleasant, large garden in the sunshine. Beer good. Pub could do with a little makeover but pleasant nonetheless.
A proper pub ! The landlords have worked hard to bring this pub back to life & it’s great to see so many locals enjoying it again.
Lovely little pub, although bigger than it first appears. I visited on a quiet evening and was served quickly. A nice selection of drinks, if not abundant, and very reasonably priced hot drinks. I noticed a dart board and pool tables and the gents toilets were 8/10. I was confused by the car park, but then I am easily confused and it was dark.
