great food at reasonable price. Brilliant ambiance, friendly staff We had few drinks and meal for lunch. Our experience was above expectations. I ordered Double Chicken Burger - Chicken patties were perfectly fried and the Buns were so soft and tasty. Friend ordered The Fish and chips and he loved it. Fish was light and crispy. Another friend ordered Mixed Grill and item was sufficient for two people. Very friendly staff and food/drink to suit anyone. Often live music on weekend. Great place to sit back and have a nice cup of tea and a bite to eat I really like their sofa in here it's sooo comfy : I don't drink alcohol at all but I do enjoy a cup of tea in a nice comfy place with good music this pub meets that requirement it's a nice pub comfy and the food is really good to the grilled chicken breast with new potato's and a side steamed greens was lovely very juicy chicken and fresh veg gravy was delicious too pub grub staff are very kind and caring : and not judgemental either
Such a welcoming team, it felt as if we were among friends. Great food, lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly. Real flame fires. What's not to like? Highly recommend.
Food & drinks are good. Waitress at lunchtime was lovely. V friendly & helpful. Real fires are cosy. You can order & pay from the app at your table . Lots of tables so even when busy you can find one free. 10/10
Booked a space for a party on Saturday night. Pre booked food for £11 per person. The food was below average. Nachos were just tortilla chips with hardly any cheese or other toppings. Sandwiches had little to none fillings and were totally dry and tasteless. The lady behind the bar was extremely rude to everyone, clearly having a bad day, not our problem though! Get out of hospitality if you're not enjoying it. Many people in our party complained about her attitude, and how she was dealing with customers. We won't be going back.
We went there for lunch today. The food was excellent, and great value with the discount voucher we had. It was busier than expected but our meals didn't take too long to arrive. I'd like to give a special mention to our server Kate, who always goes the extra mile to be helpful and cheerful. It's staff like that who turn an ordinary experience into a special one.

Lovely, roomy Pub in Ashtead, Surrey. Super cosy. Loved the fireplace in the middle of the Pub which makes it super warm in the winter. Ideal to unwind on a Friday evening, catch up with friends or have a Party. I had my work Christmas Party here last night and I really enjoyed it. Food was tasty and the atmosphere pleasant. Customer service at the table could improve a bit but cannot complain and would not hesitate to recommend this place. Easy to access, disabled parking and ample car park at the rear. Thumbs up!!
Average. Menu limited and food was OK. Experience was somewhat spoilt by a very loud group of women who had taken over the corner where our reserved table was. Not the pub's fault, but staff were not particularly attentive and failed to notice there were no chairs at our table or offer an alternative place. We ate our mains quickly and left.
I think this pub is excellent! Dan and Luis Lu really made us feel welcome! Stella is 10 10
