A really enjoyable visit here. The food was excellent and without fault. Service friendly, in a comfortable environment. Great value meals. A fabulous find, and would love to return if in the area again.
We arrived to a packed pub on Friday evening with 3 young kids. Kelsey couldn't have been more accommodating - she was fantastic. She took it upon herself to give us table service, helping us to avoid the crowded bar area. Noting we had young kids in tow, the food came speedily and was delicious, in particular my stir fry. Thank you so much Kelsey and Windsor Hotel! It is also situated in a beautiful village.
What a great pub. Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with good selection of beers served by friendly staff. Loo's upstairs like 'spoons and also very clean. Looking forward to going back for a meal, as the menu looks good. Will wait to see what the food is like and then it's probably five stars.
The best Sunday lunch I have had in a long time! The portion sizes were great, plenty of gravy and a good variety of sauces. Being a non meat eater, sunday lunches can be very dull, but this had all the trimmings. The desert was plentiful and tasted sublime. Well done The Windsor on getting it right
An excellent Sunday roast with friendly staff, good beer selection and a reasonable price.
