Manager/ fella on the door was a bit stuck up and tried to make me feel like he was doing me a favour by finding me a table in an hour. I would have given this a much lower rating but the waitress was absolutely fantastic. Like every retail experience it's all about the people. If all the staff were that good I probably wouldn't have noticed it was grubby and tired with bread rolls on the floor.
The restaurant is spacious, has a pleasant modern decor, is clean and found the staff great on our visit, welcoming and friendly. The food was lovely and no issues with the quality. The only downside is some families not controlling their children's unnecessary noise levels, which is disappointing to experience when paying around the £60 mark for a meal for 2. Whilst do not expect a library atmosphere, we do not expect a playground atmosphere either and this should be discreetly dealt with! Perhaps family areas & adult only zones should be considered?
Nice meal good friendly service on our visit there this evening. Lot's of families in at the time we went but did quietened down a bit later when less children in the restaurant. Good menu selection all though not as inexpensive as a harvester used to be the last time I used one approximately 3 year's ago. Food was really enjoyable and great dessert.
Walked in the door to see unclean tables. The floors were dirty and sticky. After ordering, we received our food lukewarm or stone cold. We received our salad bowls for the unlimited salad station after asking when our food came out. We stayed for a total of 100 minutes for a meal for 4 people. The food was alright when served hot, but I don’t think it’s worth the prices. The staff were nice and helpful, but were slow at clearing tables and tending to customers.
Came for lunch yesterday as a table of 4, booked in as I knew it would be busy and glad I did!! We were served by the manager Lee, he was friendly, smiley and attentive, my kids loved him too!! Nothing was too much for him. We also had the pleasure of getting service from a young girl with pink hair, but I didn't catch her name unfortunately!! Food was lovely, my eyes were definitely bigger than my belly would definitely recommend booking in as they were fully booked so couldn't accept walk ins.
