Recently moved to Wincanton and went in for a check up. I was told I needed my teeth cleaned and was advised to return for a separate appointment to have this done to achieve the best result. I feel like the clean I had done was extremely thorough and better than any clean any previous dentist has done for me. My stains have now disappeared and my teeth feel clean and smooth. Really pleased with the service and care received.

i went to this denist thinking i made the right decission...NO I DIDNT!!! so your supposed to have teeth repaired and have confidence in your dentist which takes alot in my view as i can be scared of the dentistry. i went to have a tooth out which needed to come out asap. my male dentist told me infront of my friend that came in with me for support that the dentist which had filled the tooth before had done an horrific job to say the lease. There was plaque inside my tooth which had been sealed with a filling and that the dentist before did. i said how can i have a bad tooth and need it out due to their fault as it was a seeled cavity..i wasnt happy with this so i had a temp filling and the dentist refused to take the tooth out. i had a check up before this was found and x-rays in which i thought he was doing a good job..yet he failed to mention that i had a deep open cavity. At this point he told me i must drink through a straw and brush my teeth for at least 10mins twice a day. i did this then i also got told i was basically fat from the recent denist in which i thought that his professionalism was discusting and inappropriate so i went to a completely out of county denist for a second opinion, i was made welcome and i had to have a filling that yet again the previous dentist didnt pick up on. i made the decision in which to take it futher and not go back to this wincanton smile center again as i needed to be treated with care and not to be given false information or teeth to be pulled out that i now question about. i dont recommend this dentist at all amd my family dont go there anymore now because of attitude and unprofessionalism.

After a horrific experience from another dental practice I registered with wincanton smile centre. I am probably one of the most nervous and anxious patients out there. I seen Duncan today with a nasty dental break. He was absolutely fantastic, calm, polite, explained everything to me.fixed my tooth there and then. No tooth ache at all now. I'm regaining my trust in dentist's thanks to this practice. You're all amazing. I would highly recommend

Went to the practice with a cracked tooth that had to be removed. After 4 weeks, antibiotics and constant pain I went in for the extraction and 3 fillings. This turned into five fillings once in the chair. The extraction could not be done as the tooth was too firmly rooted. Once the anesthetic had worn off I was in pain from every tooth that had been touched and had to have every one of the fillings redone, which was when we discovered two of the teeth that had been filled had cracked. Second dentist who was forced to put things right(ish) was very good. First one was appalling.

Avoid this dental practice went in with my one year old she has never been to a dentist before he got a mirror and stuck it in her mouth telling her to open no wonder children won’t go to a dentist and he looked at the wrong tooth that was hurting her tongue would never take my children there again and the dental nurse on reception saw I had a pushchair and didn’t help me out of the front door they are so rude and don’t help!
