Great Jungle themed Soft Play, for kids 145cm high and under, with a range of climbing frames, tunnels, slides, ball pits and other play equipment on including a tree house/slide, play houses and a bouncy castle, plus a smaller dedicated soft play/slide/climbing area for toddlers to use.nSome of the toy equipment needs updating and/or batteries.nThere is a little area for baby changing.nnThree fab little cabins - One offering sweets galore and zero waste/eco refill food products.nOne create your own stuffed bear.nOne pottery cabin. As our little one is too young at the moment, we haven't explored these but they look fab. Seems they hold painting parties in the pottery cabin and for the bears. Great ideas!nnAlso, a great, very clean, little tea room offering lovely cakes, snacks and food, which can be served inside the soft play area.nnThere is a lovely little outside area to eat in the nicer weather.nnThe toilets could to with a bit of modernising but generally clean.nnOn the garden centre side of things, not so great - Very sad.nnOverall, not a bad little place to take the kids in any type of weather.
We have been coming here for while but recently since they enforced these very new strict rules and horrible staff I will no longer be coming. I have 3 children and one of which is 16 months. She will not eat a full meal and still has baby food most of the time and snacks. I bought stuff that I knew she was going to eat and got told to put her baby food away. I explained that she wasn’t going to eat a full meal. Do I just let her starve then? I had already bought food for myself and the other children so couldn’t see why this was such a big issue! It wasn’t a problem before so why now? They also don’t cater for every one’s needs. I personally think if a child is under 2 then they shouldn’t have a problem with bringing stuff they will eat.nnVery disappointed and will not be using this soft play anymore , shame as it was a lovely to go to
I've only ever been here for kids birthday parties but the kids love it.nnThe children all go bananas on the soft play, the garden centre makes the food and gives out a party bay and then the kids get to meet a famous snowman .nnDuring which, I had a coffee.
A disappointing visit to the soft play. We have been coming here with our children for many years and have always loved it but the lovely, friendly manager of the coffee shop and soft play seems to have left and been replaced by a rude, stern lady with rules and regulations galore!nnIt was raining so I let my 3 kids run inside the soft play while I went to pay but she demanded I bring them out and present them. For what purpose I’m unsure maybe just to be difficult.nnThere’s a strict rule on absolutely no food or drink of your own in the soft play which I think is a little unfair with very young children if the adults are spending money in the coffee shop. I saw one lady get told off as she let her very young child who looked to be less than 18 months old have a nibble of some fresh fruit from her lunch box. She was told immediately to put it away. Very harsh as young children like what they know and it’s very expensive as parents to buy them food from the cafe that you know they probably won’t eat.nnDuring our visit there were several signs which stated that the soft play was only suitable for children under 1.45m. This seemed to be the only rule which wasn’t enforced at the premises as they were many big children clearly over that height running amok throughout the play area. Given that children must be presented in the coffee shop and given a wrist band before entering the soft play the manager clearly knew about it and turned a blind eye to this rule. It resulted in young children being knocked over, being too afraid to go on the bouncy castle and babies unable to use the designated baby area.nnOverall a very disappointing visit and sadly to say after many good years I think the time has come to say goodbye.
I've been going to this soft play with my granddaughters for the last 3 years but after today I will not be going back there ever again. Spent £30 on food and drinks and £5 on sweets which my granddaughter wasn't allowed to eat in soft play, why I don't know when you can eat food and eat cakes???. I gave my 1yr old granddaughter some cheese biscuits and got told off by the the manager very sternly to put them away. I said to her really I've spent £35 on food and drinks but she didn't care. Also there are cameras in the soft play which i wasn't aware of, surely there should be signs to make people aware that they are being watched.
