Best lamb I've ever had! High quality dishes with a good price. I booked via open table for my bfs Birthday.

Ordered the Cote De Bouef, a beef dish for 2 which was absolutely delicious. Really cool experience as the waiter cuts it for you beside your table. Wine was lovely and service was great.

I know for a high end restaurant like this the standard of the food is paramount to the establishment. Actually we went to chat with our friends while someone else worried about the cooking and the dishes. I know the constant checking that "all is ok" is central to the mission but I found it too much and often disruptive to our conversation. At least wait until we acknowledge you before you butt in, did your mother's never teach you that it's rude to interupt? But the food was exquisite.

My first impression was that the restaurant was cold. We visited on a Thursday night, which was relatively busy and yet it was cold all night. The menu was very limited, definitely not giving much choice to most of us. Despite the limited choice it was an expensive menu. I rarely leave negative reviews but this place is overpriced for what's on offer and definitely uncomfortably chilly. Cutting costs doesn't work. We won't be back.

Cannot fault the food, service was very poor. Waiter knocked over a full glass of water this can happen and just put the plate on top of it no one attempted to clean it up before we did which was incredibly poor , the bottled water was not replaced after that happened and staff went to refill our glasses with tap water, lots of interruptions with the same questions because there was too many staff in one area and I wasn't given any change back when I paid the bill with cas and no proper apology from the manager.

Best restaurant in south dublin in my opinion. Superb quality and friendly staff. Had the early bird menue with a group of friends. My group were allowed to relax after we finished our meal and there was no rush by staff to ask us to leave early, even though the restaurant getting quite full. Definately going back to Wild Goose
