Great place to eat. It has an excellent menu with loads of choice and prices are reasonable too, drinks are very reasonable price as well and on a weekend it gets quite busy with a good atmosphere. My favourite pub in the town and our first port of call when we want to go out for a pub meal, my parents go at least once a week and love the themed nights where food is cheaper for example steak night and curry night. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

The meals in this pub are very good for the money. However what lets this pub down is the fact that none of the staff seem to care about the cleanliness of the tables. Almost every time l visit l have to clean a table for myself. I even now go prepared with cleaning cloths in my bag and always leave my table clean after eating. If you visit early morning the tables are nicely cleaned and set but after the great British public begin to arrive tables are messed up and l am left to think the manager doesn't care about hygiene. This is a pity as the staff are very friendly but standards are poor. You keep asking how l rate this pub so l am giving you my honest opinion.

Usually go for a breakfast. Always good value. Had porridge today and unfortunately was barely warm😕

Cheap and cheerful pub. Friendly staff and really good prices. Few rowdy customers at times especially when you get people having pints with their breakfast.

Wetherspoons pub. Visited on a wet Thursday late afternoon. Seemed to have a regular crowd of a few local silver surfers. Plenty of seating for eating. Sat in what was the dance floor area which had been populated with tables. Ordered a meal which came with drinks (be careful to order the drinks that are included in the price of the meal). Standard Pub fare, nothing exceptional but ok for the price. Service was polite and attentive.
