One of the best pub meals I’ve had in Maidenhead. The specials were to die for - the cod scotch egg, the lamb croquette and the crab. The pork belly for mains was perfect. And for dessert we loved the donuts. First class. Highly recommended. I truly enjoyed the meal.
Visited The White Oak again after a few years, the food was still amazing. I had the cauliflower soup which was creamy, the addition of raisin was a great idea. I had the beef for main which was very tasty, my husband had the turkey which was moist and tasty. We ordered the donuts to go which were really nice even when we had it at home after 2 hours. Highly recommend this place!
Really excellent food - elevated pub grub - with genuinely warm and knowledgeable service. Tight, smart and incredibly well-priced wine list. Tee value all round!
The search for the perfect roast is over. Hand’s down, one of the best roasts we’ve enjoyed in travels and what really pushed it to a 5* was our waitress bringing an additional jug of gravy midway through the meal to our absolute delight! Gotta get the cauliflower cheese alongside without a doubt and just look at those roast potatoes. The best part for me, though, was the parsnip purée - heavenly. 100% going back this weekend for round 2 and to try another meat
Amazing food. Everything we ordered including the kids meal were delicious and amazing quality. The ambience is great, the outside pods very comfortable and ideal for English weather where the sun turns in rain in a matter of seconds. The service was a bit slow but the staff attitude made up for it. Highly recommend this place.
We booked The White Oak for an event and Hattie and the team were amazing right from our initial enquiry. They made the entire experience so smooth and were equally outstanding on the day. Everything was superb and better than we imagined. Thank you so much Hattie and the team x
Myself, sisters x3 and partners met up for a meal in the public bar area as we had a couple of dogs with us. Service was fantastic, just the right side of attentiveness and seemed to have a real interest in making sure we had a lovely time. Food was excellent, plenty of variety and really fresh. I had the Dover sole and it was excellent. Atmosphere was great, very friendly and not too loud. We all said we'd go back, good job to the team at the White Oak
Location is stunning Staff are excellent & very attentive However the turkey platter I had was really poor … the turkey was 2 slices and tasteless the potatoes were clearly cooked from frozen … genuinely disappointed & having never eaten here before very surprised The prawn starter was excellent & the cheese dessert was excellent It wasn’t busy & others with us made the same comments I’ll come back but not for the Christmas menu
A well deserved 5 stars, managed to get the last table left, as a walk in. Great service from the young waitresses, quick service, excellent delious food that was well presented, highly recommend, will return
One of my favourite restaurants in the UK! Always at least two vegetarian options for every course. Even for vegetables I’m not 100% keen on I put my trust in this restaurant because they deliver tasty food every time! We have come around 10 times now and it’s always excellent! I look forward to the creative ideas the chefs have for the seasonal menu each month :
