We stayed over night.  The room was clean and well stocked with drinks and shower gels.  The bed was comfortable and when I did get to sleep I had a good night.  The criticism is the toilet was constantly letting water pass.  This meant I heard a dripping all night.  We did not complain as we were in bed.nThe restaurant is another matter.  We sat by a ceiling that had paint flaking and water stains. The food was limited for vegetarians and I thought expensive.nI would stay again but use local eateries.

Had wonderful laid back lunch. Lovely food, lovely staff. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to visiting again.

Went for dinner at the restaurant on a Sunday for a family birthday. Service was warm, friendly, attentive and nothing felt to much to ask. The food was equally as good if not better. Everything tasted brilliant and the portions were plenty I was hesitant there might not be enough vegetables for everyone at the beginning which the staff noted and offered to bring another bowl out which I appreciated hugely, we didn’t need it to be honest. Cost is maybe on the higher side I guess but it’s definitely worth it as I left feeling totally satisfied which is hard to achieve for a grumpy old man like me. Will definitely go back.

Lovely place, great breakfast. Very well located for my travel business only real pain point was the car park or lack of car park. Public parking very close, but it was raining uk style so I got soaked walking there...

Did not stay overnight, only popped in for breakfast as I couldn't get in my first choice in Romsey. It was nice food and the service was good.nA lot of people were turned away after us, saying no food is served between 10:30 & 12 but we were seated and served at 10:45 so not sure what that was about.
