Good friendly traditional pub but £6.70 for a pint of bitter and a cup of tea in a small Sussex village a bit steep

Came in over Easter as just moved to the area, myself and my family had a delicious meal. The kids meals are really good. Have been back subsequently for lunch with friends and a "date night" dinner. The food is always delicious and I struggle to decide what to eat every time because everything that comes out looks amazing. The staff are very friendly  and attentive without being over bearing.

Lovely and warm, well kept ales and good food.  The linguini night on a Monday is particularly good value,  £25 for two including a decent bottle of wine!
