I visited this evening, around 5pm, and was greeted by a gentleman behind the bar.  I was offered a seat in either the bar or the restaurant, I chose the restaurant. The fire  was on, which was lovely and there were plenty of places to sit. The restaurant and bar was clean and tidy, and the place had a good ambience/feel to it. I was served quickly and professionally. The food was good, I enjoyed the meal, I had the chicken and ham pie option with green vegetables tasty.  And because it was such a long day at work I enjoyed a cappuccino  The price was very fair and I would definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area on business or even passing through.  I'll be visiting again, more photos of food to follow   Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available on the menu.  Vegan burger etc.

Popped in here 2 weeks ago for a Sunday lunch, service was good and the meal was probably one of the best Sunday lunches we have had.  It took a while to arrive but understand why as it was all freshly cooked, not your normal carvery affair.  So thought we'd pop in today to try the normal menu and it was again superb, the carbonara was fantastic, and the young lady behind the bar was very good.  Can't understand how anyone can give this place 1*, having only been here twice it is a hidden jem and we will defiantly return.  Well priced and all cooked to order.

I have never wrote a food review before.  This picture shows the special Herefordshire beef patty of my wife's not so beef burger, The staff "I'll add rudely" say that's our Herefordshire beef patty's.  they did offer another one but told my wife it will b exactly the same as this one safe to say she didn't fancy another one.  I'm no food expert but there were no beef in between the buns of this burger ,,,no taste /texture or smell of beef. Seemed like breadcrumbs and maybe sweede looked and tasted like baby food.  Ate here many times day and evening menu over the years and its always been just OK. This time however was awful.  This review page won't let me reply to the reply so I'll just pop it here in an edit of my original review. Thank u for the reply and kind gesture of offering a revisit and free meal i most definitely didn't do a review to get a free meal or money back, I also understand u wasn't there when the issue happened. Thank u for ur time and replying to me.

The food here was absolutely fantastic! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Although the coffee machine was out of order today, each staff member came to have a small chat and asked how the food was. I really enjoyed it here, I totally would recommend coming here as the food is really nice!  The cheesecake of the day was Raspberry Cheesecake and it was very creamy and smooth. Even the lasagna was good and everything was as I would expect. If you want a nice evening or afternoon out, definitely come here! You won't regret it!

Booked for our 26th anniversary, never been before. They made it an amazing evening. A card waiting on our table and Prosecco to start! Food was lovely. Staff so helpful. To top it all off a wonderful anniversary brownie, can’t thank you enough.

Excellent lunch menu and very good value at £12.95 for 2 people.  Food well presented and very tasty.  Good service and reasonably priced wines.  Will definitely be going again.

Honestly gutted that I have not been to this little gem before. We have just had an incredible meal here and the setting are very relaxing. Great service too and food top quality. Gordon Ramsey who just saying. Thanks team white hart just beautifully done.

Been here several times now and every time I've received friendly service from the staff, fresh, hot food and quick service. The bistro is gorgeous for a nice meal or an event, I hope to attend a bottomless brunch there next! Highly recommend!

Beautifully decorated interior, stylish but homely. Food was excellent; tasty, well presented, just the right portion size. Good background music! Will definitely be visiting again.  Parking: Good size parking area.

Just called In on the off chance and so glad we did. Beautiful surroundings friendly gentleman behind the bar. We were taken in to the restaurant area for our meal and what a beautiful room lovely and light and decorated nicely. The food was lovely and well cooked and presented. We will definitely be back.
