We celebrated our 50th birthday's with a meal and drinks at the venue with close friends who all live out of area. The communication in planning the event before the date was brilliant with Sue being really responsive on email. The service on the day was outstanding. Staff were very attentive. The food was outstanding. Without a doubt the best experience we have had with eating out. Would highly recommend and we will be back in the future - Mrs Lawrence from Sussex
Took a twin room and had a great breakfast. The rooms are a good size and bathrooms well fitted. The bathroom bits and pieces mean you don’t need to bring anything. Welcoming staff and very good service. Would go again for sure.
Really lovely warm and friendly pub. Looking exceptionally festive right now. At least two beautiful and well behaved pub dogs, the staff were so helpful and accommodating with our annoying and last minute requests. The food is delicious, generous portions and the beer is very well kept.
Beautiful room with exquisite bathroom. The food was excellent. But above all the staff made our weekend so special. They were so welcoming and friendly.. Highly recommended

Only went to the pub for food and drinks but they were both great. Service and staff both knowledgeable and helpful. Food was hot and extremely tasty Walkability: Everything in Masham on your doorstep Food & drinks: Curry night on Tues was great with 3 different Currys. Goat curry gorgeous. Washed down with old peculiar...could not be any better. Went back wed and had fish n chips again really hot and super fresh n tasty
Great food, reasonably priced, lovely staff. Highly recommendedRooms: 5/5
Nice pub and restaurant with a lovely outdoor seating area. Staff friendly and helpful managed to squeeze us in the pub area for something to eat as it was really busy. The food was a mixed bag my husband and sons meals were OK Trio of pork and Lamb tasted fine but for the £22.00 plus we paid for each of their meals didn't seem value for money and not a great deal on their plates but these prices don't seem out of the ordinary for Masham. My meal of a rare sirloin roast dinner was fantastic, meat cooked perfectly and plenty to go alongside it and at £19.95 I thought this meal was worth the price. We did order 2 desserts as son still really hungry and these were both good value at £7.99 and both delicious.
