Story

The Wharfedale Clinic specialises in musculoskeletal medicine and musculoskeletal / sports injuries. The musculoskeletal system comprises the bones, joints, ligaments, muscles and tendons, along with the supporting blood and nerve supplies. From back pain to sciatica, Achilles tendinopathy to osteoarthritis, the range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries is vast. Indeed, such conditions are the second most common cause of disability in the UK. For this reason, we have brought together a multidisciplinary team of independent practitioners able to provide prompt, comprehensive and expert treatment when you need it, as well as advice on injury prevention. The clinic is owned and operated by Dr MB Speight and Mrs L Speight LLP.

Martyn Speight is fantastic. He is so knowledgable and competent. I first saw Martyn with discogenic back pain that I had  suffered for 3 months. Within 2 appointments my symptoms had resolved 100 percent. Had he only achieved this with me On that 1 occasion I may have been skeptical but I have seen him with other unrelated issues and also recommended  him to numerous  people  with different musculoskeletal problems who have all achieved the same results. He believes in getting straight to the heart of the issue and resolving it for you quickly. He won't have you traipsing back week after week with no progress. Lisa who runs the practice and Sally who is on reception are really helpful and welcoming and it is a very professional and caring environment.
