My lovely son was cremated here 30 years ago. Over the intervening years his sister and I have made several visits. We do not live locally. Last Autumn near his anniversary I made what I know will be my last. I am in my 90's and in a wheelchair. Outside the Hall of Remembrance a white feather fluttered down and landed beside my wheelchair. It was a moving experience. Such a lovely peaceful place with a beautiful view.
It is a beautiful, peaceful place. The staff were lovely. Never felt rushed even though the Chapel was very busy. The gardens of remembrance had squirrels and a full of bird song. It was a lovely place to say goodbye to my best friend.
Lovely grounds and very pleasant staff. However a terrible gaudy chapel and very poor facilities. It needs knocking down and to be rebuilt up to a much higher standard. Easy said than done. Not suitable for large services.
I lost my dad two years ago and then my mum in June this year i just wanted to say the staff were fantastic on both occasions and we were allowed to stay in our family bubbles and were made just as welcome as before Thankyou so much Weymouth Crem.
A very beautiful place squirrels walk, birds sing and big trees!
