I visited Wessex Dental Specialist for a wisdom tooth extraction at 8:30am, and although I was taken from the waiting room 25 minutes late, Dr. Thomas Aldridge provided an explanation for the delay. He ensured I was sufficiently numbed for the procedure, clearly outlined the plan of action, and kept me informed throughout the process. Additionally, he prescribed antibiotics as a precaution due to the large size of the tooth extracted. Dr. Aldridge made what could have been an unpleasant experience much more bearable.

My first surgery ever was just recently performed here by Richard Ramsey and it went way better than I anticipated! I'm usually really nervous at the dentist but Mr. Ramsey and the nurses really helped me to be more relaxed throughout the surgery. Practically ZERO pain the entire time! And the healing is going really well too. I highly recommend this place!

I was running late from work and called to say sorry. The phoned me back and said come and they will see you. I saw Richard who could not have been nicer. I was having 2pices of my broken tooth removed. Richard explained everything that was going to happen. Richard managed to get them out. A lovely nurse explained about aftercare and took me to the door. A great place and can’t rate Richard and his team high enough

From start to finish, a very friendly and professional atmosphere. Having been slightly dental phobic in the past, I was impressed and relieved with how patient, kind and understanding all the staff were. My faith has been restored that treatment does not need to be nerve-racking or painful.

Best dentist / specialist around! Had 2 back teeth extracted little over an hour ago, painless! Didn't feel a thing! In and out the chair in 10 minutes, max! Top notch facility and set up, modern and welcoming, very professional, caring and understanding, they all go above and beyond. From start to finish was a pleasure and a breeze. Highly recommended! Benedict carried out an extraction for me today. The last time I saw him was in 2018 for two wisdom teeth through a referral. This time I decided to pay to see him because of how good my last experience was. I’m a very nervous patient and can be extremely anxious with just a simple check up but I was made to feel totally at ease. My usual dentist told me the extraction would be complicated and take approximately an hour. It actually felt like less than 10 minutes and I didn’t feel a thing. It was worth every penny and I thought very reasonable. Thank you so much to the whole team for making what is usually a traumatic experience a genuinely pleasant one.

Wonderful surgery, can’t find any faults at all.  Helpful caring friendly and very professional staff.  My tooth extraction was quick and painless which was something which my NHS dentist failed to do causing me 10 weeks of agony.  This is the third extraction that I have been referred here for and all three have been positive experiences.

Amazing place, attended for both upper wisdom teeth to be extracted under a NHS referral, the reception staff were very welcoming and kept me informed about a slight delay, Rajiv Anand my dental specialist explained the procedure very clearly and was very reassuring, the whole procedure only took approx 15 minutes, after injections Rajiv extracted the first tooth in about 2 minutes and the second which was impacted about 5 minutes, I was amazed how quick it was, Rajiv's dental nurse was brilliant too making sure I felt ok afterwards. I wasn't looking forward to this procedure but I shouldn't have worried at all, zero pain, very quick, pleasant surroundings and very professional friendly staff, thank you all so much.

My dentist left over six months ago. I was told I would be given a new one soon. I was never given a new one.  Three times, I have been called 1 hour before my appointment to be told it’s been cancelled.  It's a real shame, as it’s a clean and tidy centre with lovely staff.  It's time to find a new practice.

I had my right lower wisdom tooth reminder, baby a wonderful dentist Richard and team.   So joyful and happy.. made a horrible procedure easy. Thank you.  Hope your mother’s 80th birthday was fabulous too!
