We have recently completed a puppy class with the club and are attending Mike’s drop in sessions at Marbury Park. Both are excellent for socialising your puppy and giving their human more confidence. Very good value, and Mike is very patient and knowledgeable, with lots of tips and advice that really works!

Mike was absolutely fantastic, helping us 1-2-1 with our Ridgeback puppy and we then attend the Marbury Park sessions. Our dog is a good bit past being a puppy now but his behaviour is something we are constantly proud of - thanks Mike!

I was recommended by my vets to visit Mike with my puppy and he has been brilliant. I have attended a few different dog trainers over years of owning dogs and whilst everyone has their own way I have found Mike's approach to be straightforward and easy to understand. He is open and direct and extremely knowledgeable about the day to day issues of owning a puppy and how to train it effectively. He uses the right balance of reward based training without too much fuss and never uses any sort of fear based correction techniques. I also brought along my 6 year old Labrador to his intermediate classes and both Mike and the other handlers are very welcoming and friendly. Molly and I can't wait for Saturday mornings and his approach has really helped me to focus on my dogs and ensure they are well trained. I have to say if you don't like the truth then you may feel at times awkward when Mike corrects YOU rather than your dog but as a responsible dog owner it is always down to my lack of consistency, control or correction which leads to problems with my dogs. It's not the dog's fault and as long as you are able to understand that Mike is there to help and support you then I think he really is the best dog trainer I have met.
