Amazing local produce, support businesses like this! I got some raw honey and it is delicious! Had a coffee outside in the sun from the horsebox in the courtyard.
Lots of great produce and friendly staff. But completely disappointed with the raw milk. I was willing to pay 50% more than I pay at local farm milk vending machines in Yorkshire for the convenience of buying whilst visiting, but what I brought home was certainly not raw whole milk. I would describe it as thinner than semi-skimmed and after sitting overnight there was no sign of cream on the top.
Usually excellent quality produce, albeit at a high premium to some competition. Recent purchase of Carrot cake did not live up to expectations - though eaten the same day as purchase, the topping tasted of gone-off cream cheese - very disappointing experience. Wasted £3.25!! Other cakes and sweet treats are very good, in particular the Cronuts.
I’m writing this on a Saturday night after a very disappointing fillet steak. I had purchased 2 after visiting the Harley cafe. On preparing to cook I had to take out a lot of red string. Once I did the steak just fell to pieces. So pleased I hadn’t bought more to share with guests as I would have been embarrassed. Sorry I had put sauce on the steak before I decided it needed a picture. A very expensive mistake. Overall the steak tasted good but looked terrible!
Farm shop selling a range of meat,fruit, veg , dairy etc. The meat looked very good so to the deli, cheese counter. Also sells jams,chutneys, wines ,pies etc. The shop seemed clean and tidy and very popular. Situated next to Duckeries garden center and the Harley Gallery.
Welbeck Estate is truly a place to visit if you like good food , the best farm shop , the best of art at the harley gallery and shop and one of the best garden centres around. Free parking and great service wherever you chose to go . We are really lucky to live not far away but would drive further if we had to.
One of the best farm shops around! Plenty of choice and reasonable prices for a farm shop! Wish I could always come here recommend to anyone!
Fantastic choice of high quality produce, meats etc. Very helpful staff. Just a pleasure to shop there. Look forward to returning again soon. Trying the Welbeck Brewery beers.
Nice farm shop reasonable range of product. Worth calling in when visiting the garden centre. Museum next door also worth a look
Absolutely incredible butchers. The whole team are very knowledgeable and it's nice dealing with people that are passionate about what they do. If you call ahead you can pretty much get any cut you want. Have had some delicious short rib, ox cheek and venison in the past. The air-dried beef rib we had from them over Christmas was absolutely stunning.
