Very nice pub a minute from the M5 which serves great food with a warm welcome. Well recommended. Large beer garden, easy parking, dog friendly pub - inside and out.
This locally very good & nicely interesting pub of the Weary Traveller in Cullompton really provides their hospitality business service by doing their best by serving loads of drinks for different people & the beer garden outside is also good as well.
Wow! Super dog friendly- food was home cooked and so tasty- and good sized portions too. The welcome was so nice, we would strongly recommend stopping off here for food
Great food and good menu options, completely fair pricing. The pub is laid out and designed nicely, with good facilities like a pool table, darts, sports screens, plus a separate large room for dining, decent sized car park and right on the road so easily accessible. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly which I appreciate I find a lot of places aren't like this any more and it really puts a downer on things, so this is a big plus for me when staff greet you with a smile. Was just passing from having seen a friend in Cullompton but would actually return again with the family now that I've discovered this pub - highly recommend, thanks!
Giving a shout out the the whole team at The Weary Traveller for their excellent food and service. They hosted our local run club Christmas do last night, with 23 to look after they did a brilliant job. The food was really good, not easy with a group of this size. Thanks guys - really looking forward to coming back.
There are better establishments on cullompton high street for food and drink. Better price, quality and quantity. Although if you want a calm atmosphere during the day... the bar staff are kind and welcoming. The ownners are insulting and rude. They're the only ones over 50. My partner cut his lip on a broken glass on his first sip and was insulted. We were left shocked with the customer service by the owners and the bar staff share our view. Better off getting a beer and a sandwich from the petrol station X
Had a carvery, was a good meal the only down point and why I have marked this down to its ok is the heating needs to be put on. Even the staff had to ware coats to keep warm. I will try again as the food was very good.
Very lovely carvery and great to take children as the menu was good and smaller meals available price was great also highly recommended
We always go to the weary traveller when visiting my brother in Cullompton and today as always was a great meal. the whole bar and restaurant has been beautifully decorated since our last visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and we will certainly go back again when in Cullompton
A very friendly and thoughtful landlady was our first positive experience. The pub is very pleasant with outside space and a beer garden. We had a lovely lunch. My Stilton Ploughman’s was delicious and a generous portion. My husband enjoyed his steak and onion baguette with fries and coleslaw. Dessert was the New York cheesecake, also scrumptious with a choice of cream or ice cream etc. There is a large car park and the pub is sited just off the M5. It is certainly worth a visit.
