Beautiful setting and plenty of outdoor seating. We had the breakfast bap and egg and bacon bap. Both very tasty and fresh. Coffee quite small and a little weak but ok. I thought the breakfast menu was quite pricey. Service was friendly and didn’t wait too long for our food.Food: 4/5
We love it here and struggle to understand why 4.2 is the average. I give it 5* as the food is superb, always beautifully cooked. I often opt for fish of the day. But anything I’ve ever ordered has been lovely. We are comfortable, the ambience is great, and the staff look after us really well.Food: 5/5
This was a surprise dinner for my birthday. I love fish and I was spoilt for choice. I decided on the White bait starter which was so yummy and the Jerk Monkfish main coarse which was absolutely gorgeous. I also had a raspberry gin fizz cocktail. This is not a cheap destination but if you want quality with a super view, then this is perfect
Food was incredible, we had roast dinners one beef and one nut roast and both were delicious. Beef was great quality and perfectly cooked and beef fat roast potatoes were possibly the best I've had and dipped in the gravy even better. My daughter had the kid's local sausage meal and they were really tasty and obviously good quality. All the staff were lovely, unfortunately there just weren't enough of them. They apologised for the wait for our drinks and main course, but they actually arrived quite quickly. We had a long delay for our plates to be taken, ordered ice cream for my daughter at the same time and this took 15 minutes plus to arrive. I asked for the bill when they brought this but eventually we have up and queued at the entrance to pay instead. This wasn't the staff's fault, they were all working hard the whole time we were there but there didn't seem to be anyone in charge and more staff were needed given the restaurant was full and lots of people were sat outside too. The long wait after main courses took some of the shine off but the food was so good I would eat there again.
Lovely find after a walk along the beach. Great choice of fish. Hummus highly recommended as a starer to share. Main courses, generous portions and something different on the menu. Dessert to die for. Friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
Great location but you pay for it. Had the smoked mackerel pate which had the single end of a crusty loaf. Ordered more bread for £3.75 which was a single slice of dry bread. Lovely place, good food but overpriced.Food: 3/5
We stopped here for lunch, after a lovely walk along the sea front. The food we had was delicious and the food came quite quickly. The people serving us, were very friendly and polite. This place is wheelchair accessible. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: This place has NO steps to get in, so this makes it fully wheelchair accessible.
Fantastic food and fantastic service, Cari real credit to your business service with a smile personified 5* will visit againFood: 5/5
Good food although a little pricey but you do get a good portion size. Excellent service. Worth a visit if you haven't been. Sat outside and watched the Spitfire flying by several times, awesome. Perfect location right on the waterfront.Food: 4/5
Visited last week for an evening out as the Restaurant was doing an offer of a free bottle of wine with 2 meals. We had a starter we shared, jerk chicken Tacos which were really nice. My Wife had Mussels, she really loved this, a good size portion. I chose the fish & chips. Not overly impressed, the portion size wasn't great, literally just fish & chips with a pea puree which I thought was quite pretentious. Wish I had the burger which was cheaper and bigger. Free bottle of wine made up for it tho, was a Pinot which would have cost about £20. So for a meal coating £45 Inc wine I can't really complain but would not have been happy to pay in full £65, too expensive for what it is. Having said that the service was very good, staff were attentive and busy. This place has recently been refurbished and looks nice but Guys, you need to consider reducing your prices for Locals to return regularly. Thanks.
