The staff should take a course for politeness. Mediocre food with prices that seem to go up every couple of weeks. Cheaply priced drinks so that's a bonus. Dirty toilets which smell, they must be cleaned once a week. Saturday nights seem to bring out the lairy ones ,we saw alot of digits happening with the door staff just watching. Overall it was a little better than the last time I visited. Not recommended for a quiet night out.
Great location, good food & drink
Very reasonable prices. We were a family of 5 adults and children, and we paid less than £7.50 per head on average for a meal and a drink each. Food isn't exceptional, and my curry was a bit on the cool side, but at these prices, it's hard to complain.
3 of us went, a very overwhelmingly busy place, but its a spoons so of course it is. People came in after us and were served before us, had to go ask where our food was. Tattooed waiter was nice and polite.nnGreat food however, just over £30 for all of us. For a walk in place its good.
This is a large weatherspoons pub but from the outside looks small, how they do this tri k I just don't know, as I have also found this with some of their other pubs.nnThis is a very popular pub with both the locals and visitors, food was ordered via the app and was delivered quickly. I can't comment on the real ales and how good they are as I was driving, but they did look to have a good selection to choose from.nnSo if you need a quick bite to eat and a drink worth a look the only problem for you is that Barnstaple has 2 pubs in the town which one are you going to choose?
