On the positive side, the service at the reception was fast and friendly. Good size and clean single bedroom, comfortable single bed, hot water in the shower, kettle with some biscuits. There was even an ironing board in case you are on a business trip, which is handy. On the negative side, the parking is very busy and you might not find a spot. You cannot park on the main road either. The hotel begs for refurbishment. Leaky shower hose. The bedroom is not sound proof, I could hear every step in the corridors and the people talking in the next bedroom even though they were not loud. My sleeping was interrupted so many times because of the noisy stairs. At 5 am I heard the TV in the next bedroom as if it was in my room. For a budget hotel, there are cheaper options out there that provide more comfortable accommodation and
Fantastic location with beautiful scenic views beside the Thames. The buildings quite old and tired but it has heaps of character. All the staff are polite and friendly, there is free wifi and parking The rooms clubare spacious with bath and shower ,and patio doors leading out onto a terrace overlooking the Thames. Breakfast is also very good with a good selection of cereals and pastries plus a good cooked breakfast. All in all and nice hotel and a beautiful location
Stayed here for a visit to Thorpe Park and its a great location, really picturesque right on the river Thames. 2 downsides: radiator was stuck on making the room too hot. Walls are paper thin so we didn't get much sleep the first night as there was a VERY loud and enthusiastic couple next door to us.Rooms: 2/5
Every time we have eaten at the Warren Lodge we have thoroughly enjoyed the experience but Alison and the team go all out to make Christmas Day lunch special. We had a great dinner and a wonderful time. Well recommended.
All the staff work to give you the best service and you certainly couldn't ask for more the down side is that the place is a little tired. But location is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended it.Rooms: 4/5
I just had a four month stint Monday - Friday every week. This is not a flashy or corporate hotel. It's niche, charming, friendly, and with a flexibility that just doesn't exist in the large, plastic cold hotels of today. Yes, it has some faults now and then, but who doesn't. That said, whenever I raised any issues, it was sorted immediately. This is a hotel with great staff who care and want to make you welcome Highly recommended Duncan Brazier MD DPB Spedition Limited
Good but basic room and certainly would be stunning in the summer great little location for visiting the local area and is comfortable. Rooms: Basic but had all you needed certainly a great night's Nearby activities: Plenty of scope with Kempton races, Windsor, and Hampton Court.
Lovely and quirky place. Room was clean and had all/plenty of necessities. Really friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely food at great value I had steak and they even had vegan ice cream! Thank you for a lovely stay! : Rooms: Our room was clean and spacious with all neccesities. Food & drinks: Great selection and great value.
Room was not the most hygienic, also one of the windows was cracked .The bathroom door did not open properly and the top falling apart with cracks inside and out.Going past the big hand stain on the bedroom wall you can see the bed mattress which is in dire need of removing its stained on one side with springs sticking up .it all blends in with the watermarked chair at the desk .no telephone ,no bathroom extractor.A hotel once well appointed but it is not anymore ,with minimum staff its obviously dated and dirty.its also fine if you like heated frozen meals rather than handcrafted by the chef .
Hmm, so the staff were clearly not happy to be at work, not a great welcome. My room was tiny, the bedding was clean but there was a folded blanket not a duvet in the cover. Tea/ coffee facilities were clean and bathroom clean but everything was incredibly worn and chipped and broken. It's cheap but honestly, I think I would rather pay a tenner more and get nicer room.
