Very beautiful and clean pub, the staff are amazing , the food is brilliant with amaz8ng price.nWe choose the mega mixed grill platter which you can share by 2 people,had a glass of rose wine Arietta Pinot Grigio Blush very soft, and a Guinness pint.
We came here for lunch. Food was good and didn’t take too long to come out. Service was good.
The mix grill I ordered was cooked perfectly with my steak medium rare as I requested , I told the waitress to compliment the chef on my steak , I will definitely be making a rerun soon
Best food I’ve had in England, the last pie from another shop I had was bland but the steak and ale pie was delicious. On my next holiday if I get to come back I will definitely be happy. The service from crystal was great. She juggled our large 30+ group with ease. Thanks for a great time.
Updated Review 22/12/24nnCame in to have a 3 course meal with my partner, had the dirty fries with pulled pork, lashings of bbq sauce and melted cheese, and a great way to have a starter and delish nonetheless! Main course my partner had Fish and Chips, which was really well cooked, and i had the Hunters Chicken, which was also gorgeous. Sweet potato fries were really well cooked and seasoned, as was the chicken. Fish done really well, and chips were also crispy and fluffy. Dessert, the sherry cheesecake was to die for with the white chocolate and the raspberry is such a classic taste combo. The chocolate sundae in itself is also a classic and was also very tasty.nPortion sizes here are generous, and food is priced reasonably.nLovely warm pub with a lovely atmosphere.nWill be coming again soon
