Room was lovely - shower is amazing in comparison to many other hotels. Didn't use it but the room service facility is a nice to have. Service was so-so. The booking was under my partner's name but I couldn't check in because my name wasn't added. I've not had this situation staying at other hotels via Booking.com so this was odd to me. It isn't the hotel/receptionist fault but just a bit of a bump upon checking in. So do be mindful of this if you're booking to stay here. The towels provided had stains on them - the phone in the room didn't work for me to call reception so I called using my own phone and this was rectified promptly. Upon returning to the hotel that night, my partner was questioned about whether he was 'actually' staying at this hotel. It felt like he was racially profiled by that member of staff. Location is good - local to West Kensington station and Baron's Court is a short walk away. It is a little confusing to get to but not awful.
We stayed here for 2 nights, and each morning there was a random fire alarm. On the first morning, there was a fire alarm at 7:15 in the morning, scaring my mum and me half to death. On the second morning, I knew another one was going to happen and it happened at 8:10 in the morning. Me and my mum did not get scared this time because we knew it was going to happen. Turns out the alarms were just false alarms, which annoyes me quite a bit. Anyway, breakfast was all right the pastries and bread were stale. The still had some cold meats and some cold cheese, some fruit, and cereal, so breakfast was kinda good not really. And breakfast was £7.50 each person though!!The rooms were quite nice actually, the bathroom was nice and the room was nice and the beds were comfortable. But,there was construction going on outside and it made loads of noise. The location is really convenient because it is a 5 minute walk away from the underground station, and some bakeries and shops. So overall, me and my mum, will not be coming back again. Don't waste your money
I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Rooms were decently sized with a great view. The hotel was located quite close to a couple of tube stations. All the staff were very helpful and courteous. Special mention for Nancy who was very helpful to guide me on places to visit in and around London and even booked train ticket on my behalf. That really helped me save time and enjoy my visit. Thank you to entire W14 team!!!
Really nice little hotel, very well located 5 min from west Kensington Station. Rooms are small as usual in London but newly refurbished and very well maintained and cleaned Very friendly staff. We arrived around 1 pm and they allowed us an early check-in. Good breakfast
The location is convenient, 5 mins walking distance to the tube. There is NO elevator so If you have luggage you need to consider this. They also do not have a restaurant, however there is a breakfast room but no buffet, only a selection of bread and juices for breakfast. Rooms are decent but small, typical sizes in London. Staff were respectful & professional.
Decent cheap hotel depending on where you are wanting to go. Good tube links, but a bit of a distance from central London, good amenities around, lovely area of London.Rooms: 4/5
We stayed in a room in the basement floor that smelled of mold and toilet and had a garbage disposal area view. There were serious hygiene and moisture issues as well. We couldn't sleep until late due to the noises made by rats in the garbage area. The staff resolved this issue around 2 AM. The location is far from many places. We definitely do not recommend this facility.
Lady at the front desk should be a bit more welcoming. Didn't even say "hello", the only thing she asked was my name. Then I got asked if I wanted to pay for breakfast, I had an early flight so I declined. Then she gave me the room key mentioning the room number and wifi info and that was the whole conversation. No indication where are the stairs or lift if any, no indication where to go which floor or anything else. Maybe she had a bad day, who knows but at least the basic information and indication where the room is. Other than that, the gentlemen working night shift was very attentive and responding my question in regards taxi. As far as the room goes, it was clean, as shown in photos. Nothing special, next time I'll probably look somewhere else.
Great stay! Nemcy at the front desk was very good—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. She made check-in easy and gave great advice for local places. Clean rooms, very good location in Kensington, and tasty breakfast.Rooms: 4/5
I love this hotel, the location is in the middle of London, but in a very peaceful neighbourhood. The rooms are realy clean and the staff is friendly and helpfull. 2 minutes walk too a metrostation. When I go to London again, I will go to this hotel again. Thank you for caring for me and my mam.Rooms: 5/5
