This is such a charming tea shop in the city center. They have a huge variety of teas and good options of cakes too. They also have dumplings if you feel something more Asian. The interior design is really lovely and they have these couch area that looked really cozy. It’s more suitable for groups and I think you may need to reserve it in advance. Just to add that even if the place is in the city center, it’s quiet and a perfect place if you wanna get away from the buzzing main streets :
This is a centrally located teahouse with a great location. The dumplings were very good, but the tea was bland. The owner has a very bad attitude towards the staff and you can hear her shouting at them. The wait was long as the staff were few and busy.
Great place to relax and enjoy a variety of different teas . The ambience of the place was great and the lemon cheesecake was amazing . I loved the different teas there and the seating was very comfortable I'd definitelly recommend this to everyone to visit. Edit : I'm back for the 2nd time and am not disappointed . The tea was great, I ordered the chocolate fudge cake and felt it was of high quality and was decadent . I enjoyed the pan-fried dumplings and as always lo ved the ambience there Edit 2: Back again and get a better experience each time
Cosy little spot with a very good selection of Chinese teas. For food you can choose between a nice selection of cakes or Chinese dumplings. As a huge fan of dim sum I just had to go with the Har-Gao steamed shrimp dumplings which were some of the best I've ever eaten and brought back fond memories of my time back in Asia. For tea I've got the Gua Pian green tea which was very delicious as well. When you can't decide on which tea to get the friendly staff is going to help you choose your tea so don't worry. They know their tea well and can recommend you a good one based on your preferences. The prices were good as well and I enjoyed the nice atmosphere and pretty interior.
This place is cosy and has a relaxing vibe. I love the decor of the place, it's very cute. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the toilet, and the customer service was on point. I highly recommend the traditional Chinese tea. This you'll find on the first page of the menu. The desserts were not the tastiest we've ever had, but we enjoyed it with soft music playing in the background. My partner and I enjoyed the atmosphere so much, that we lost track of time. We'll definitely visit again to explore the menu. So, great job and kudos the girl that ran the entire place by herself today!
Tldr: nice Cafe to chill Quite little place, good dumplings, good ambience, friendly staff - blackforest was above average I've had better. Dumplings could improvemore stuffing perhaps, but good nonetheless. Overall, you'll have a nice evening in this place.
Dumplings are amazing!!!But the female owner treated her stuff badly, so I guess maybe I won’t come here again, cuz she doesn’t know how to respect a person, and her attitude toward people is correlated to her idea toward her store. It makes me really uncomfortable.
Nice place where to relax. Nice teas selection. I couldn't drink my tea last time as the cup was too hot. Maybe they need to be changed.
Great place to enjoy your evenings if you are not up to going to pubs and other loud places. The place is very cosy and offers a lot of tea varieties. We got their special black Chinese tea, but it tasted slightly seaweedy for my taste and the lady who works there did not explain anything. Also, the toilets were very disgusting... people need to learn how to flush the toilet after themselves.
Been a fan of their other place, M&L which is just across the road from the Teapot, for a good while and my only regret is not visiting The Vintage Teapot sooner! Very cosy atmosphere, attentive service, excellent tea and, of course, the DUMPLINGS — like oh my god, the dumplings are to die for. Can’t wait to come again!
