Building and surroundings are lovely. Breakfast was of a high standard and included in the very reasonable price although could do with an extra toaster! Manager was charming and very accommodating. No restaurant unfortunately, however they do offer pizzas which were delicious. Very warm and welcoming experience with a nice room, although fairly basic but acceptable given the lower rates. Would definitely stay again.
We had a very comfortable 4 day stay. The room was clean and well appointed and was given a full refresh each day. The staff were accommodating and polite at all times. Breakfast was excellent and we had a pizza one evening, which was spectacular. Good value for money, too. Highly recommend the Vines.Rooms: 5/5
A lovely spot. My partner and I stayed here while we explored Oxford. The owners were warm and welcoming, the food was great and there was clearly a lot of attention paid to the furnishings throughout. My only suggestion would be to have a menu or board to let guests know their options for breakfast which was delicious. This wasn't a big issue as the options were explained to us when we asked. I would highly recommend The Vines to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable stay in the area.
I'm giving this a 5 start review as the staff were great and really friendly. It's an extremely quiet location. The room was a fairly small double but clean and very comfortable bed. The staff could not be any more friendly! The breakfast was also very nice indeed.
The staff were very friendly, but the kitchen was closed. This hotel is in a village with no other dining choices, so no dinner available without getting a takeaway delivery or driving somewhere else. The rooms are basic but comfortable enough. Breakfast was ok, but no fresh coffee, and the boiler used to make instant hadn’t come to the boil yet. The people were nice though.
Myself and a colleague stayed here over the weekend for work, a very nice hotel, decent bar with a good variety of drinks, nice clean and tidy rooms in a quiet part of the world. I would definitely recommend, also very nice and accommodating staff. All in all a great stay.
Just one nights stay. Bar recently refurbished and looking good. Very warm welcome. Good parking. Room was good on the whole but not the most comfortable bed and the wet room was good but shower lacked power. Very happy with our stay and a good breakfast.Rooms: 4/5
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent throoghout. Room was quiet and comfy. Some very good beer and wine in the bar for an post long day relax.

Stayed at The Vines hotel for 3 nights an excellent stay every where within the hotel was spotless and very comfortable staff were very friendly and helpful,breakfast was well presented and delicious .The hotel is very rural but lovely to come back to after a busy day We would highly recommend is homely welcoming hotelRooms: 5/5
