Beautiful cafe / shop. Food homemade delights! Jammed packed with full breakfasts and shopping! Ate outside with delightful coffee and croissant. Going back. Staff friendly and clean toilet!

Amazing, tasteful, friendly and interesting. After a stressful weekend in Brighton we wanted to get out and see something new. A breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the Village Shop made sure our day started perfectly. Outstanding service, friendly and quick, paying attention to small details. Extremely clean and a very welcoming atmosphere. Defenitely the best breakfast i've had in a really long time! I can only recommend!

Love this place! An absolute gem. Shop & cafe. Great selection of fresh food including local produce and baked goods, really friendly service and placed in a nice spot set back from the road. Tables in & outdoors. Photos don’t do it justice. And they’ve got a nice bathroom!  Cacao flapjack bars were exceptional.

Have eaten here several times, unfortunately not able to book ahead but always busy as everything about this place is excellent. Food is wonderful, good portions and well priced. Ambience great, staff are welcoming and professional. Thank you for a great experience.

Really great place, the breakfast is always really good, quality ingredients and well cooked. Super friendly atmosphere and excellent service. The Village Shop is one of my favourite breakfast spots, if you get a table you’ll have a great time!

This is a wonderful place to drop in for tea and coffee,  a meal or more. The owners are very friendly to all visitors who join the community at the place. Parking is well arranged at the front of the cafe. Breakfast is very popular with the local craftmans.

Just had a lovely breakfast here with my husband, served by really cheery staff. Food tasted amazing and the cafe/shop had a really great atmosphere. Parking was very limited so we had to park down the main road but apart from that, was absolutely perfect. Will definitely be returning.

I truly love this place, the staff make you feel welcome, the selection of grocery items is great and their coffee, tea and hot chocolate are all top notch.<b>Food</b>: 5/5
