Vegetable soup n wheaten was absolutely gorgeous. Then the ravioli was brilliant aswell. Barbara and rest of the staff are very welcoming. Very homely place to eat in.

Great food and friendly staff, had been looking for the Hillside Tavern as Google said dogs were allowed, couldn't find it so wandered back and popped into the Village Inn, dog welcomed in. Lovely meal and if you are staying at the Gosford Park Campsite I recommend a visit.

Great place for food highly recommended and we keep going back as it's so good! Fantastic service as well, highly recommended to anyone! 5*

Needs more Christmas decorations with tree etc  Live music at weekend would be nice
