An amazing little pub. Wonderful food, traditional decor, excellent staff. The Victoria is really worth a visit. Definitely a pub with a personality. I know it is closed at the moment due to COVID but you must visit as soon as it is back open. Truly a gem. I visit every time I travel to London. Don't miss it.
We stopped here for lunch one day while in the area around Hyde Park. Very cool atmosphere. Dog Friendly! The place was cool with people bringing in their dogs with them while they ate or had a drink. The staff was very friendly. We had the fish and chips and the Wild Boar Ragout! Both were delicious.
We walked by this Paddington pub/restaurant mainstay, located close to Hyde Park, many times but finally got the opportunity to try it. And The Victoria didn't disappoint. Classy surroundings, attentive service, good selection of ales & lagers, and a menu of more than pub grub. I recommend the fish of the day with a nice ale.
This Pub long may it live is one of London's hidden treasures. Luxuriously furnished and excellently managed.
