Excellent children's play area, beautiful gardens, paved walking and 3 hours free street disk parking. With an extremely helpful traffic officer. Top marks!!
Go take ten minutes to yourself in the Japanese garden, it's always quiet compared to the rest of the park. Sometimes the model boating guys are out on the little lake. It's quite good fun for the kids to watch!
Always nice to have a saunter around valley gardens even now as we wait on spring plenty of benches to watch the world go by excellent play area for small children to blow off steam on swings and slides etc and when we get back to normal coffee and cake or ice cream from small cafe excellent
Valley Gardens itself is pleasant as always but so overcrowded for the current climate. Meant to be max of 30 in the play park but more like 200 were in at the time of my visit, no one to monitor or enforce the rules.
I felt in love in that place!!! It is great for few hours walk or just for morning coffee. All walk are clean, all gardens are very well prepared, plenty of benches, great sport kids area
Lovely park very nice everybody needs to go to the Japanese gardens and see how beautiful it is
Beautiful park but WATCH OUT if it has been snowing or icy. The paths may not have been salted or gritted even though the whole of the gardens is well used and there is a popular café that can be accessed from several entrances to the park.
Its an interesting place. Bit of a walk from a car park but would love to see it in full bloom
Good place, I would recommend going there for a good walk. It has a wonderful pond and lake and even a park but it doesn’t have that much cafes to go to so overall I would give it a 4.5 stars but it still deserves the 5 stars.
