Very efficient and prompt service, despite it being lunchtime 12.45 and very busy. We were served our cod and chips, with mushy peas and a pot of tea within 3 minutes of entering the small but comfortable upstairs restaurant. The meal was cooked to perfection and made even more enjoyable by the addition of Stokes sauce sachets on the table.
Very nice spot for lunch, polite and friendly staff, quick service. The kids battered sausage was amazing! Nice curry sauce Great place.Food: 5/5
I went here today and had the plaice and chips. They were both cooked to perfection. Locally sourced sauces and drinks too! Service was excellent: a warm welcome and great throughout. Definitely the best fish and chips! Your life will be a better place if you eat here!
99% I would have loved to say 100%, but I thought the food wasn't cooked fresh and was a little on the cool side. I also like my chips better cooked. But I am being really really picky!Food: 4/5
The restaurant is in the first floor.their fish fry or fish fillet are fresh from sea.. Can taste the sweetness of the fish. The flour or batter are not that thick but enough to cover the filet and gives some crispy and crunchiness on the outside. Cook to perfection and batter has it flavour too. The ketchup and tartar sauce are first class. Very nice... The chips are fried to perfection. No oil absorb into the fries or chips. Mushy peas.. a long while a go..the mushy peas were then a lot darker ...ie not overly cook. It tasted very nice then to compliment the fish and chips. Anyway mushy peas are still nice..... The food is similar to the sister's chip shop.. Except it has air conditioning. Clean toilet.. and comfortable table for eating. Crispy salad..-nice Also list of dessert. The sister's chip shop should have address of the upper deck diner next to the name. For some they wouldn't know that one could sit with family and enjoy the food upstairs. And ended up queuing. Overall will come again when in the vicinity like today... Been here few years ago...too... Please keep the price down and reasonable.. your client will remember and keep on coming...
Just dropped in on the off chance and left thoroughly satisfied! Very friendly staff and lovely food.Food: 5/5
Lovely fish and chips. Good sauces too. Restaurant is above the fish and chip so food comes out quick. Table service with friendly staff.
Good fresh quality fish, and service is efficient and friendly. But fish is very small for the price.Food: 3/5
Been here countless times. Never disappoints. Can be quite cozy when busy, but food is on point.
On a freezing cold day in Aldeburgh we had delicious fish and chips served with a smile by the super-efficient waitress.Food: 5/5
