Popped in this bar prior to dinner at nearby restaurant after reading good reviews on cocktails, and we were not disappointed with the quality and reasonably priced, only negatives were front and rear doors were fixed open which meant it was really cold, and no comfortable seating available in the front bar area.
Sunday evening week before Christmas thought we frequent a favorite of all ours. Unfortunately bar manager tried to charge his only customers in thete £28 for 3 beers and small glass of wine. When challenged he said he would reduce 20% off... sadly paid for but asked why so expensive and he said wine was £9 a glass... disgraceful behaviour and will not be returning or recommending
Amazing find whilst heading back to the hotel. Staff really friendly, happy to chat whilst preparing excellent cocktails.
The place is amazing. I've been here on more than one occasion but only twice since covid. Its so safe and I felt very comfortable. The guy working I think was named Harvey possibly sorry if I'm wrong was fantastic. He explained they were a bit under staff and the back log of drinks. He was so good and I felt bad for him the amount of stress he was in. We always have a good time and the wait time will never put me off. It was a busy Saturday and we still had a great time. Thank you for your great service.
The cocktails are super tasty and it's great they have the app for table service to keep you safe at the moment. They lost 2 stars as we specifically requested low seats with backs and not bar stools when we made the booking online - 2 out of the 3 of us have back problems so this was really inmportant. Not only could they not accomodate this, they didn't bother to let us know beforehand and waited for us to question it upon seeing our table. We probably would have cancelled the booking if we'd known in advance.
Amazing drinks, smaller area but I appreciated that instead of busy Lound noises. Clean and friendly
Love their cocktail menu and tea pot shots you can buy. Lovely beer garden with plenty of cover and heaters. Just a bit lacking in indoor seating and the toilet facilities are quite small. Great place for alternative folk looking for some decent music.
Wonderful time here with with my other half Would like to thank Sarah for her great hospitality and all the other waitresses for their welcoming and friendly attitudes
First time my pals card got declined, second time went through. Bartender proceeded to ask what we do to see if we could "afford" our drinks. Felt like absolute dirt after. Usually regualar ustomers but reaĺly disppointed in our experience. Bartender was short, ginger, knob type.
Great atmosphere, well set up to manage safety in these covid times with their booking app that you can also use to order drinks, it's fab! It's one of the only places I will go to in town at the moment because of this.
