Nice ambience in homely surroundings but there didn't appear to be any air con and until they opened a fire exit door it was very warm and not pleasant. The starters of mushroom on toast were gorgeous and we were looking forward to our mains of Chicken in peppercorn sauce and Cheese pie. Unfortunately these did not live up to the quality of the starters and we're just average at best.. quite tasteless really. On another positive note our waitress was lovely; very friendly and chatty. To summarise, we enjoyed it but won't be going back as there are better all-round restaurants in the area.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere. Service was good and staff were very friendly. Food is reasonable. Disappointed that it says hand cut chips on the menu but you end up with frozen ones. Also, I'd go as far to say that the Yorkshire pudding and roast spuds were frozen too. The starters were very nice though (I had ribs) and the battered fish was nice. The cappuccino I had was excellent. There aren't many pub restaurants that can get one right. Reasonably priced too (if certain things weren't frozen).

Love it here. Proper home cooked food. We try somewhere different but we keep coming back. Staff a lovely. Xxx

Nice place with good choice of menu. Car parks quite small but there's parking on the road outside. Went at Wednesday lunchtime, it was quite bust but didn't wait long to be served. Would go again.
