Amazing little tea shop just off the main road. Every detail in the decor is well thought out and goes together. Cake portions are HUGE and very welcoming to bikers (looks like they are more used to cyclists walking in so we turned heads in our motorbike gear!) when our little group came in from the cold.
If I'm ever in the area again will be good to visit again.

Good food in a very pleasant atmosphere. Some nice walks in the area.  Very popular with cyclists.

Great coffee - good range of soft drinks and a rather nice tagine which is vegan for those who are interested in such things. Right in the heart of the stunning Chiddingstone Village with Tudor buildings galore.

Set at the end of an unlikely-looking alley, this tea room's home-made cakes put the National Trust's to shame; the best I've had in a long while, in fact, though you might need a doggy bag given the slice sizes.  Welcoming  to our well-behaved toy poodle too - a rare thing in Kent tea-rooms (whereas in Devon...).

We booked afternoon tea for 11 and they were brilliant!  Lovely food. Very helpful staff.   Can't think how they could have done better!
