Nice location and good play area outside for kids. Food is good but used to be better. Good pub grub now whereas used to be fine dining style. Service needs a lot of improvement (also used to be much better) - shame it isn't what it used to be.

Had a really lovely Mother's day lunch. The place was extremely busy but the staff were friendly and efficient and we were never kept waiting but we were not rushed either. The food was delicious and although a set menu the choices were varied. Really nice atmosphere and would certainly recommend giving them a try

Popped in for a couple of drinks before a wedding. Good selection of drinks including 3 real ales. The food menu leans towards the more upmarket end of the scale and prices reflect that. Didn't eat but what I saw others having looked very good so a bit disappointed that I didn't order anything. A mix of clientele, from families to couples, which is to be expected at 2 in the afternoon. Pleasant atmosphere and staff. Will be returning for ox cheeks I feel...
