Good honest pub. No frills as it doesn't need it. It serves Natch in cans so a draught pump for be an improvement for this reviewer but any pub with Natch has to be a 5 star in my opinion.
Fantastic place . Good food indoor and outdoor eating handy to bring the dogs outside. The rooms are great they have great views it’s close to the town a perfect place to stay .

It's a Good old local pub' But I went there for the Meat man.
Poker night was great on Tuesday. 7.30pm start and was done by closing. Easy to get drinks and great space to play. Also plenty of parking!!!

Pleasant surprise as this is not a favourite destination of mine in the past.The pub has always been good .....as a pub but the atmosphere is so more upbeat than before,much more pleasurable.l only really went to watch the group who were playing that night.l have watched and enjoyed them over the years now fronted by a Brazilian,Chris Archela with great bass and drum musicians .......a good sound.So together the pub with a great area to hear the music,good service and a nice atmosphere made it a great visit
Top food and drink......always Banter
No food, no non alcohol lager but they did have fever tree tonic for my gin . This place is in a state of change at the moment. A new manager takes over on Sunday ...
Good pub years ago . We stormed the place with bats and balaclava in the early 80 s . Hard firm . Put up a good ruck .
