My new favorite fry stop in Bangor! Came in for some breakfast and had a plate that would of fed me for breakfast and lunch! The fry was outstanding plenty of it and not greasy at all. Bacon and sausage were top quality no cheap foods used and the breads seemed to be homemade the waitress could not do enough to help and the atmosphere was relaxed even though the placed was packed! Will deff be back here again well done to all the staff the trading post has ticked all my fry need boxes!
Fantastic wee coffee house. Friendly, helpful staff willing to amend any dish to suit your requirements. Fantastic array of tray bakes, desserts & scones to go with your coffee. Very relaxed atmosphere you don't feel rushed to eat and leave in fact quite the opposite with coffee refills and tea top ups!!
Best coffee house in Bangor. Staff are always very friendly and make you welcome. Selection of food is brilliant from salad through to hot food everything made fresh daily good selection of daily specials and finish of with the best coffee in town. Will be back soon
Myself and my wife have visited The Trading Post on two occasions recommended by my son. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The prices are most competitive and great value for money. I would suggest you give it a try and judge for yourself.
Had lovely panini here today. The Smokey Joe. Found the place Relaxing with good parking. Food fresh and tasty. Staff very friendly also. Would recommend. My only critque would be to replace benches with table & chairs for people with dexterity problems. Other than that The Trading Post was a lovely find.
Called in on Monday and ordered the biggest fry in the Cafe. When the fry arrived it was grease free, but I've had bigger frys for the same price. But the reason I put only 2 stars is because of the hygiene of the staff. Whilst sitting at my table I noticed one staff member dropping his order book on the floor, he picked it up then rubbed his finger across his teeth then continued to serve customers without washing his hands. Another staff member coughed whilst chopping peppers, she never threw the peppers out or replaced them, instead she handed them to the chef who went on to use them, and still no hand washing. Another staff member rubbed her hands on her apron after wiping her hair out of her eyes and yes you guessed it still no hand washing. All this on top of not one staff member including the Chef/Owner not wearing any heair covering. As an ex Chef de Partie I take hygiene very very seriously.
Great friendly staff. Value for money. Excellent food.
