Went on a Sunday for a roast. The food was good but the chef serving us was way to skimpy on the portions of meat he was carving. Ended up filling up with all the potatoes and veg instead. Also the place was very busy and I felt there wasn't enough staff to cater for the masses. Service took a very long time. On the whole it was ok, might be worth visiting again at an off peak time.

Nice carvery although could do with more selection of vegetable's especially if like myself you are vegetarian. Also pizzas are okay but I prefer thick crust. Have the ice cream toppings free.

Dismal!!! Absolutely appalling service, no meats left at carvery, we had to wait an hour for more meat to be cooked, then there was a further very long wait in the queue to get there and find that the meat looked raw and everyone was refraining from eating it!! No apologies from staff, no clearing of tables, what we did have to eat for starters was tasteless and not cooked to a good standard at all. Needless to say we won’t be visiting here again and left without eating mains. Now in the Harvester after wasting nearly 3 hours there. I wonder how they will stay in business with service and standards as low as that.

Burger was nice but when I asked the chef (#cook) if there was any brown sauce, he gave me the look of bewilderness? And said there's red.... not a good start. The bar staff I thought were very nice and polite same too for the deputy manager, I would advise a lift up lid system though for the chips, mash and veg as that was starting to dry out.

Staff were lovely and food was up to a high standard. Their carvery is amazing and the pizzas are really good. I highly recommend this place for a quick meal.
