A lovely Victorian pier, around a quarter of a mile long. The entrance fee was relatively cheap, you could then come and go as many times as you wanted for that day. There is a gift shop when you go in, with a small restaurant/cafe and a coffee/cake shop at the far end. There are memory plaques along the whole length of the pier, the sides, the floor, with many famous names having been here. Lots of history and info about the pier and the estuary. Dogs are allowed on the pier but not in the restaurant. It was a beautiful day with lovely weather, the walk down the pier was very pleasant. There are different events held at different times of the year with limited spaces, details posted locally. Definitely worth a visit.
Nice gift shop. Beautiful pier, though a little daunting walking over the aged boards n seeing the space below, not good for vertigo sufferers!! But worth the views at the end. Then walked up to the little museum area upstairs, interesting n well maintained.
We were visiting Clevedon from Bristol on a lovely Sunny day and visiting the Pier is a must! I can’t express enough how all staff are extremely kind and have such a positive attitude. They welcomed us into their premises right away and even took the time to let us know the must sees during our visit. They had a lovely mini museum upstairs with cool interactive exhibitions, great views, custom plaques all along the pier we need to definitely have one made at some-point and coffee and food. A must visit! Thank you to the Team!
It's just as a pier should be, no modern day amusement arcades. Just a pleasurable stroll and a leisurely coffee and cake paid for on top of the entry price from the little pagoda cafe at the far end as you admire the view. Before returning to the small gift shop and a lovely little museum that details the history of the pier, which is well worth half an hour of anyone's time on it's own. The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable as well as being very enthusiastic making the whole experience enjoyable and at a cost of only £3.15 per person a true bargain.20/3/22.
What a beautiful Pier, in a quiet and picturesque seaside town. So gorgeous we got married here on 2nd June 2022 - in the Porthole Room. The staff could not have been more co-operative - always attentive, always wanting to please, always giving us confidence that our wedding ceremony would run smoothly - and it did. Even the weather was perfect. The Porthole Room small and intimate, the viewing platform allowing our guests to enjoy the view along with a glass of bubbly and some delicious canapes also supplied by Clevedon Pier, and the Pier Head for some gorgeous photos with a stunning backdrop to be taken. It all came together perfectly - thanks to Joe, Nicole and their fantastic team. Highly recommended to visit, whether just passing or like us, as a wedding ceremony venue.
What a joy! Whether you like the old world charm of the pier or you want to recreate a classic One Direction video, this is definitely worth a visit. Look out for the many sweet and interesting brass plaques telling life stories from across the generations.
Had a lovely time there. The voluntary staff there were excellent. Frank helped us to find my grandson's nameplate on the pier. We had mulled wine and mince tart and cream in the cafeteria on the end of the pier. A really nice day out.
A nice place to take stroll and seeing all the names of people who donated to restore this loverly old pier. Great view looking back towards Clevedon. Great coffee & cakes at end. There is the glass house restaurant at the entrance to the pier.
Go!!! It's a fab experience which is free for the evening walk whilst the light show is on. ? Just till Christmas w/ ends Many of us voluntarily donated to the cause & it was wonderful to see young families & dog walkers. Fab for the surrounding cafes & pubs ..I wish them success.
Not much to do here but what is here is nice, wife and I had a coffee and teacake by the pier and actually had a walk on the actual pier itself, we spent a couple or so hours there on a nice sunny Sunday. Very pleasant and relaxing.
